Direkt zu den Gewinnern? Hier entlang

In der Nacht vom 2. auf den 3. März wurden in Los Angeles zum 86. Mal die Oscars verliehen, der wichtigste Filmpreis der Branche. Wie immer im „Dolby Theater“ (vormals „Kodak Theater“) treffen sich Stars und Sternchen zur Verleihung des Preises. Moderiert wurde die Veranstaltung in diesem Jahr von US-Talkshow-Host Ellen DeGeneres, welche bereits im Jahr 2007 durch die Veranstaltung geführt hat. Nach dem starken Auftritt von Seth McFarlane („Ted„) im letzten Jahr definitiv ein adäquater Ersatz, war die Veranstaltung 2007 doch bereits ein witziges Highlight mit ihr.

Wie die Jahre zuvor übertrug Pro 7 die Veranstaltung wieder im deutschen TV. Ab 00:40 Uhr ging es los mit der Übertragung und Annemarie Carpendale mit Unterstützung von Steven Gätjen übertrugen Live aus Los Angeles vom roten Teppich. Nach der üblichen Vorstellung der Nominierungen, die jeder Oscar-Fan ja bereits zu genüge kennen sollte, begab sich Steven um 1 Uhr direkt an den roten Teppich und hat versucht einige Promis ans Mikro zu zerren. Durch Wetter-Umstände (starker Regen) verzögerte sich die Anreise der Stars allerdings, was dazu führte das diese noch weniger Zeit als ohnehin schon für Interviews haben. So kamen leider nicht viele Gespräche zu Stande, aber Steven konnte unter anderem „12 Years a Slave“ Regisseur Seve McQueen und Naomi Watts vors Mikro bekommen. Highlight war zudem „Nebraska“ Hauptdarsteller Bruce Dern, der mit dem deutschen Kommentator direkt voll mit ging und wild über den FC Bayern München gesprochen hat. Insgesamt wie immer ein ziemlich unterhaltsamer Auftritt am Teppich den Steven mit Filmwissen, guten Englisch-Kenntnissen und viel Freude am Job gemeistert hat.

Ab 1:30 begann dann wie üblich die Übertragung direkt vom US-Sender „ABC“, welche sich seit Jahren durch lahme Interviews mit rhetorischen 08/15 Fragen auszeichnet...
